We have found that the magic of horses changes lives forever. With a team approach, professional instructors and wonderful therapy horses, Change through Chance makes a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Anyone from age 2 years old and up is eligible to apply.

VISION STATEMENT

To provide a diverse, multi-level opportunity for individuals to move toward personal goals, adapt responses, and live in safe, peaceful, productive relationships through equine assisted experiential learning. 

We would like to create a facility where a person of any age can come in off “the streets” and obtain skills and encouragement to be productive and constructive with their lives.

OUR MISSION

To provide a structured mentoring program for developing leadership,
loyalty, love and patience through enhancing curiosity, producing
positive sensitivity, and creating confidence in a safe,
responsible equine environment. 

THE ROLE OF THE HORSE

The horse is a born “coward” with no political views, cultural prejudices
or personal biases and is only looking for companionship and a leader with direction.  While the horse is the attention getter, our goal is not necessarily to make perfect equestrians; rather we want to stimulate positive “self-esteem,” discover the value of team work, realize the impact of action and consequences, apply and integrate the impact of boundaries and limits, manage time, and encourage productivity without a power struggle.  All this can be achieved through fun, physical and mental exercises in the course of equestrian activities.
