On Memorial Day, the bank barn at the Wayne County Care Center was destroyed by fire. The bank barn stood adjacent to the Change through Chance stable, which suffered major damages. We are thankful to report there were no injuries -- to either horses or people. We'd like to sincerely thank all the firemen who worked diligently to save what they could of the stables. The Change through Chance indoor arena was untouched by the fire.
The southern end of the Change through Chance stable suffered major damages.

The north end of the stable and the indoor riding arena (pictured in the back) are still in good condition.
This is what remains of the Wayne County Care Center bank barn. Change through Chance's hay was stored in the barn. It was lost in the fire

Cars parked in the lot near the bank barn Change through Chance will continue! We are planning on holding summer classes. But we will need to raise money to rebuild the damaged stable, construct a building for hay storage and replace the hay. Click here to read the Daily Record story
